Welcome to kernesthetics!

The Kernesthetics fitness program is based on our anthropological origins and the future of fitness, rather than out-dated 20th century thinking. Weight loss, toning, muscle development and overall wellbeing, comes from changing the behavioural profile of the individual towards a hunter (lean physic with a high burning metabolism) rather than a cave dweller (slow burning and fat storing), thus dealing with the cause of heath and weight gain issues rather than the symptoms.

For over 90% of people, the majority of their days are spent in a passive state of very low intensity movement, which over time allows the metabolism to slow and store fat. The 20th century solution – is to workout two to three times a week and watch what you eat, neither of which address the problem… A slower burning metabolism.

Our bodies Mechanisms were developed over 4 million years to respond to certain behavioural triggers, so by spreading exercise across the day we can reprogram the metabolism to burn effectively once again – hunter. This does not mean getting hot and sweaty or lifting weights, this is simply a series of movements that can be easily incorporated into one’s daily routine of behaviour.

In this program we use visualisation skills to work antagonistic muscle groups against each other, for no more than a minute at intervals across the day to increase the daily flex rate and profile we have. We use short bursts of intensity to burn more calories and reprogram the metabolism to burn more naturally which takes out the need for cardio workouts or even getting changed.
